Baby, let’s start with the scenery! Healing Through the Pages, hosted by Every Petal Co., was held at the beautiful Buffalo Bayou Park, and the setting alone was an experience. From the earth beneath us to the city skyline in the distance, it was absolutely beautiful. The trees, the open sky, and this huge patch of grass created the perfect space to simply breathe, slow down, and be present.

And yes, honey, we were grounded in that grass! Through intentional movement, we were able to reconnect with our bodies, root ourselves in the moment, and just be. It was peaceful. It was serene. It was needed.

The theme was forgiveness, and whew… there was some reflection happening! We did mirror work that encouraged us to really look within, and we took time to think through the people, experiences, and even parts of ourselves that may still need forgiveness. The space felt safe enough for us to share intimate pieces of our journeys, and there was something so beautiful about us being able to be vulnerable and reflective together.

The host was incredibly kind, caring, attentive and intentional. You could truly feel the love and thought she poured into creating the experience and holding space for others.

Healing Through the Pages was peaceful, reflective, grounding, and truly beautiful. I would absolutely attend again.
